During the whole season the NE Patriots treated their opponents as if they were Giants and the other teams midgets, player by player they were superior than anyone else, even the best team ever (false). But it wasn't really that the team was over rated, it was just that the press over reacted to something that is impossible to determine, i.e. we can not say that Barry Sanders was better that Walter Payton or other legends like Emmit, and pretending to say that any team is the best ever is even more ambisious because there are much more factors, anyways loosing the superbowl brings that the Patriots are a very good team but not the best, not even for the season...

I'm glad they were not the champions, I could be very disappointed with a feeling that cheating is good, and humiliating your work mates and thousends of fans is also a value for the NFL.

I never understood why the league never punished the Patriots for cheating, there have been hundreds of players that had to give their trophies and medals back, but the Patriots only had to give pennies compared with all the money they made in only one game.

There have been several great inspirational couches in the NFL, Vince Lombardy, Tom Landry and many more, they have shown what is the spirit of this game, what are the values, and belive me these coaches would never humilate their opponents, there was rivalry, it was like a war but they treated their opponents very respectfully. If you remember any other team winning with more tahn three touch downs in the forth quarter, using time outs, playing in forth down to score more points, and in some point Joe Gibbs, I mean Joe Gibbs a hall of famer, didn't shake Bellichic's hand, may be I don't have such a good memory, but if you remember any other team doing something similar, please let me know.

Congratulations to the Giants they did one of the best dominating defense in a super bowl if we have in mind all the weapons of the NE Patriots. It is increadible how they were the champions if they were the underdogs all the play off games but with Tampa, and they give me the hope that being an NFL fan is worthy.
